These photo's were taken in the Spring of 2000 during my first trip to Europe.  A backpack, some travel books and I was on my way.  I started in Milan and then worked my way south to Rome and then Florence.  Of these three spots Florence was my favorite.  I was going to spend only one day in Florence and I ended up staying for three.  If you are ever in Florence and you are looking for a place to stay check out the Santi Hostel on Vialle de Mille.  It was converted from a villa to a hostel and has very nice rooms at a very good price.  But anyway on with the photo's.
